This lesson was developed as part of Missouri's eMINTS Project (enhancing Missouri's Instructional Networked Teaching Strategies) and is a modification of Ushma Kothari's WebQuest "Battle of Antacids" http://www.rockwood.k12.mo.us/marquette/kothari/fuchsiacomicsans/index.html.

This WebQuest is designed for high school chemistry students who have an understanding of the following concepts:

  • chemical reactions
  • acids,bases and pH
  • stoichiometry
  • molarity and titration

This WebQuest has a research, lab and video production component and should require 160 to 240 min. to complete.
