  MLTI/eMINTS in Maine

MLTI, the Maine Learning Technology Initiative, sponsored by the DOE, and eMINTS National Center have joined their efforts to launch a new initiative in Maine to support teaching and help them enhance their practices by integrating technology into their classrooms, implementing inquiry-based lessons and constructivist principles. Our goals are to increase students' engagement, to have higher-rank thinking skills projects and activities with them, and to help them become independent and better-informed learners.

There are 9 regions in Maine currently participating in this project.

Region 7 includes Portland, Falmouth, Gray and Westbrook schools.
