Wide-area network (WAN) |
| Portland
Public Schools and the City of Portland share an enterprise-level
network, known as the INET. This consists of five high-performance
network switches inter-connected via fiber optic cable and a fiber-optic
connection to each school and municipal building (fiber optic cable
provided by Time Warner Cable.) The INET is managed jointly by the City of Portland and Portland Public Schools
