Executive Session

Members present:   Jonathan Radtke, Chairperson, Walter Rumery, Teri McRae, Benjamin Meiklejohn, Tae Chong, James DiMillo, Otis Thompson

 

Members not present:  Stephen Spring, Kim Matthews

 

At 6:15 p.m. Mr. Thompson moved, seconded  Mr. Chong and voted unanimously to move into Executive Session to discuss a student disciplinary matter (Title I §405 6B).

 

At 6:39 p.m. Mr. Thompson moved, seconded  Mr. Rumery and voted  unanimously to come out of Executive Session.

 

Ms. McRae moved, seconded  Mr. Chong and voted  unanimously to readmit a previously expelled student to the Portland Public Schools.

 

Business Meeting

At 7:00 p.m. Mr. Radtke called the business meeting to order.

Members not present:  Stephen Spring, Kim Matthews

 

  1. Consideration and action to approve a field trip to Ireland April 15-23, 2004 for Portland High School Students

 

Michael Johnson and Sarah Shmitt were present to answer any questions that the Committee might have regarding the trip to Ireland.

 

Mr. Thompson moved seconded  Mr. Chong and voted  unanimously to approve a field trip to Ireland April 15-23, 2004 for Portland High School students.

 

Mr. Meiklejohn moved, seconded  Mr. DiMillo and voted  unanimously to adjourn the business meeting at 7:04 p.m.

 

The Committee moved into a workshop session to discuss the administrative evaluation process.
