Workshop session from 7 pm to 8pm with Gary Wood who presented an overview of the Charter Commission.

Members present: Justin Costa, Marnie Morrione, Rebecca Minnick, Robert O’Brien, John Gjika, Simon Thompson, Peter Eglinton, Sarah Thompson, Kate Snyder, Jaimey Caron, Elizabeth Holton

Members not present: Ness Smith-Savedoff

At 8:10pm Mr. O’Brien moved, seconded Ms. Minnick and voted 9-0 to go into Executive Session to discuss negotiations with the Portland Administrators’ Association, pursuant to 1 MRSA section 405(6)(D)

Members present: Justin Costa, Marnie Morrione, Rebecca Minnick, Robert O’Brien, Peter Eglinton, Sarah Thompson, Kate Snyder, Jaimey Caron, Elizabeth Holton

At 10pm Ms. Minnick moved, seconded Ms. Thompson and voted 8-1 to come out of Executive Session.

The remaining two Executive Sessions will be scheduled for March 25, 2009 beginning at 5:30pm.
