In attendance: Jaimey Caron, Marnie Morrione, Robert O’Brien, Simon Thompson,

Peter Eglinton, Jim Morse and Kate Snyder

Public Hearing on the Superintendent’s Budget Curtailment Suggestions.

10 members of the public spoke.

· There will be a public hearing at beginning of December 2^nd school

committee meeting. Chair Snyder encouraged all to attend this meeting as

well.

BREAK – Finance Subcommittee moves to Room 321, PATHS

Consideration and action to move that the Superintendent be authorized to proceed with stated transportation savings identified in his Response to the Curtailment packet of which can be immediately realized.

Mr. Thompson moved, Mr. Caron Seconded and it was voted 2-1 in favor of

moving the transportation line forward for the December 2^nd School Committee

meeting as a separate line item.

Consideration and action to direct staff to revise the Summary of Savings at Cost Centers and Other Education Programs/Dept.’s in response to the curtailment resolution with qualitative back up for full School Committee consideration on December 16. This was passed unanimously.

Ms. Snyder moved, Mr. Caron seconded and it was voted unanimously to direct staff to revise the Summary of Savings at Cost Centers and Other Education Programs/Depts in response to the curtailment resolution with qualitative back up for full School Committee consideration on December 16. This was passed unanimously.

Mr. Caron motioned, Mr. O’Brien seconded and it was voted unanimously to adjourn the Finance Subcommittee Meeting at 10:42 pm.
