Special Ed Staffing Analysis Wrap up

Reviewed ratios of resource teachers and ed techs. Supt. Stated state statute allows 35 to 1; Supt prefers 25 to 1

Reviewed the IEP service delivery hours per week- Learning Strategists will be asked to compare Powerschool to IEP’s per student. Barbara will direct Strategists to go to IEP’s first and not Powerschool

PPS currently has a 16.15 per adult ratio

PPS currently has 37 teachers and 16.78 Ed teachers= 53.78

1 to 35 HS level

1 to 30 Middle

1 to 25 Elementary

RFP working on with Supt. To evaluate PPS Special Ed Programming

Barbara passed out information on Self contained Special Ed Teachers IEP Service Delivery Hours per week. Supt requested Barbara put all similar programs together on new spreadsheet she will send out
