Lyman Moore Middle School is located in the North Deering area of Portland, Maine. Lyman Moore staff are dedicated to providing a positive learning environment that meets the unique and personal needs of the middle school child.

Lyman Moore Middle School is divided into seven smaller schools called Houses and each student is assigned to one of these. All students in a House share the same language arts, social studies, math and science teachers. By sharing responsibility for the same students, teachers develop an understanding of their students as individuals and work together to meet their academic goals.
