ADMINISTRATION IN POLICY ABSENCE

 

In cases when action must be taken within the Portland Public Schools and the Portland Board of Public Education (Board) has provided no guidelines for administrative action through policy, the Superintendent shall have the power to act.

 

The Superintendent shall inform the Board of the action taken and of the need for policy on such topics.
