EMPLOYEE RESIGNATION

The Portland School Committee hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to accept all employee resignations.  Employee resignations shall be reported to the School Committee at the next scheduled School Committee business meeting as information items.  The Superintendent or School Committee may accept the withdrawal of an employee resignation, at their sole discretion, within 14 calendar days of the date upon which the resignation was approved.
