SPEAKER SERVICES

 

Members of the professional staff shall be available to speak on their special areas of interest at school, civic, or public service group meetings.

 

Members of the School Committee shall use their own discretion in accepting speaking engagements, realizing that outside of the School Committee meetings, they speak for themselves and not for the School Committee unless the tenor of the speech is an explanation of programs and policies that have been adopted by the School Committee and by vote of the School Committee, they are in fact representing the School Committee’s attitudes and/or opinions.
