The district is creating a Steering Committee made up of Portland Public Schools staff, students and families, as well as nonprofit and business partners, to support the development of the District’s new strategic plan. Interested applicants are asked to answer a few short questions or share a resume and a cover letter stating interest. The application will be closed on October 6th. The new Steering Committee members will be announced at the October 17th Board of Public Education meeting
Note: Where two or more individuals from a specific community are equally qualified, we will aim to ensure representation on the committee and then do a random drawing if necessary.
