Summer Learning

Summer camp is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn, grow, and have fun during the summer break. Both day and overnight camps allow students to try new things, gain independence, make new friends, and build new skills. Many camps also offer children a chance to unplug from technology and reconnect with their peers and nature.

This summer, we’re excited to offer some great options right here in our district:

LearningWorks Summer Camp

Located at East End Community School and Amanda C. Rowe Elementary

This is a free, half-day, STEAM-based summer camp available for rising 2nd–5th grade students who qualify*. It’s a great opportunity for students to practice reading and math while also spending time outside, making new friends, and enjoying fun, hands-on activities!

The program runs Monday through Thursday mornings, from June 30 to August 7. Free breakfast, lunch, and transportation are provided.

*Please contact your school administrator to find out if your student qualifies.
