Tech Integration
Technology is integrated into the curriculum using a variety of digital tools and resources for the purpose of both engaging all students and improving student outcomes for all.
At each school there is a Building Technology Coordinator (BTC) acting as the point person supporting teachers to integrate technology into instruction in order to meet school and district goals. There is a Technology Integration Coordinator for the district coordinating between schools, Central Office and IT.
Software and application tools are vetted based on the following criteria: alignment with instructional vision, student data privacy compliance and compatibility with existing technology systems. PPS is a member of the Maine Student Privacy Alliance (MESPA) which sets standards of practice and expectations around student privacy.
