Flu & COVID Booster Clinic Dec. 10

The City of Portland’s Public Health Division, working with Northern Light, will offer an additional flu and COVID bivalent booster vaccination clinic on Saturday, December 10, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at 39 Forest Ave. Flu and COVID vaccinations will be available to the public, insured and uninsured.

“Vaccines have saved countless lives, but it is increasingly clear that you must be up to date for the vaccine to work, especially for those who are over age 50 and most at risk from COVID,” said Alfredo Vergara, the city's Public Health Director. “Given that the booster rate in Maine is at only about 21%, we’ve got a lot of work to do in protecting individuals and communities. Do your part, protect yourself, and protect those around you before the December holidays – get the fall COVID booster, as well as the flu vaccine.”

If you are age 12 or older, and it has been two months since your final dose of the primary series or last COVID booster, you are likely due for the Pfizer COVID bivalent booster; and CDC recommends that everyone 6 months of age and older receive a flu shot annually.

Location: Portland Public Health Clinic, 39 Forest Avenue

Date:  Saturday, December 10

Time: 9:00 AM -12:00 PM

Please wear a loose, short-sleeved shirt, bring your COVID vaccination card for documentation, and if you carry insurance, you must bring your insurance card for billing.
