Hayley Didriksen, the district’s new senior Director of Data & Assessment, joins the Portland Public Schools with more than a decade of experience in education research and program evaluation.

Prior to her role at the district, she served as a senior researcher at the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University. Hayley has also held leadership positions at the Great Schools Partnership and Abt Associates, where she managed a variety of PK-12 education projects. Hayley brings extensive expertise in translating complex data into accessible and actionable formats, aiming to foster data-driven decision-making and support continuous improvement efforts.

Hayley began her career as a high school social studies teacher in central Maine. She holds a master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree from Colby College. Hayley currently resides in Portland with her husband and two children.
