The Maine Geospatial Institute of the University of Maine System will host a K-12 educator workshop on November 15, 2023. Educators of any discipline who would like to learn easy ways to use mapping tools to enhance classroom (and outside the classroom!) teaching are invited.

No prior experience required.
The Teaching With Maps workshop will provide a pathway for K-12 educators to tap into competitive stipends of up to $500 to offer discipline-appropriate activities for Maine’s students. There will also be a random drawing for five attendees to receive free software,
a $100 value.
