City Announces Blue Heart Campaign in Portland for 'Love Lewiston Day' on Friday, Nov. 3

The city of Portland is encouraging Portlanders to participate in a blue heart campaign in support of "Love Lewiston Day" on Friday, November 3. Similar to the red hearts that are displayed across the city by the Valentine Bandit on Valentine’s Day, the city is encouraging everyone to place blue hearts on their own windows, doors, and buildings they own to showcase support for the Lewiston community.

The city of Portland will be flying a blue heart flag atop City Hall as well as a few other city buildings and placing blue hearts inside and outside of city buildings.

"Love Lewiston Day" is organized by Tree Street Youth, a Lewiston-based community of youth and adults who use their diverse lived experiences and collective empowerment to co-create youth-centered programs and partnerships that encourage leadership, learning, exploration, and growth.
