Dear PPS community: To address some confusion among members of the public, please note that it is the Portland OREGON Public Schools district – NOT the Portland MAINE Public Schools – that is alleged in a recent lawsuit to have failed to protect a student from sexual assault. Our school district is committed to providing a safe and equitable educational environment.
