Deering High School students in the Alternative Education program are participating in weekly sessions at Riding To The Top (RTT) in Windham, as part of a pre-employment transition services pilot program. Launched in December, the program focuses on helping students develop strong communication and team-building skills, explore their strengths and gain a wide range of insights into post-secondary opportunities. The photo features students during their first visit to RTT, where they had a wonderful introduction to the equine world with Carrot. The collaboration between DHS and RTT is off to a great start!
