The Portland Public Schools extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of David Galin, a former PPS administrator and educator, who passed away July 9. David was the district's chief academic officer from 2010-2015 and more recently was a social studies teacher at Lincoln Middle School during the 2020-2021 school year, before becoming the superintendent of  Sebago Schools in the summer of 2021.
