Join us at Presumpscot Elementary School on Sept. 24 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for an informative workshop led by University of New England professor Dr. Audrey Bartholomew. In this workshop, Bartholomew will provide families with the tools to better support and understand their neurodiverse children (whether they are in a special education or general education program). This session will give an overview of ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other cognitive differences, and will explore the strengths and potential challenges faced by neurodiverse students. Families will gain insight into effective communication strategies, learn about school support resources, and be able to share experiences and ask questions in a safe and supportive environment! This event will be interpreted, and refreshments and childcare will be provided. Learn more.
