PATHS Maine SkillsUSA Competition

In March, PATHS students participated in the SkillsUSA State Championship, distinguishing themselves competing against students from Career and Technical Education schools across the state in career-focused skills competitions.

During the event PATHS students put their talent, dedication, and skill on display, bringing home an impressive 10 medals! Gold medalists have qualified to represent Maine at the National Championship in Atlanta, Georgia this June where they will compete against the winner from each state!

SkillsUSA is a national organization that empowers students to become world-class workers, leaders, and responsible citizens through Career and Technical Education competitions. The SkillsUSA Championships is the premier showcase of America’s most highly skilled career and technical education students. It’s also one of the largest hands-on workforce development events in the world.

  • Automotive Service Technology: Harrison Behnke (Gray New Gloucester High School)
  • Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair: Shane Merrill (Yarmouth)
  • Collision Repair Technology: Bridget Dunfee (Scarborough)
  • Automotive Refinishing Technology: Nikita Yurkevich (Windham)
  • Medical Terminology: Sloane Redan (Falmouth)
  • State Pin Design: Anastasia Dolley (Gorham)

Silver Medalists:

  • Diesel Equipment Technology: Chase Cook (GNG)

Bronze Medalists:

  • Power Equipment Technology: Dylan Rickards (Greely)
  • Carpentry Knowledge: Brody Tracy (GNG)
  • State T-Shirt Design: Norah Edwards (Falmouth)
