Five Portland Public Schools students are among the 30 K-12 finalists in Otto Pizza's 2024 "Draw Outside of the Box" contest. These 30 design entries have moved on to the next phase of the contest in which Otto's panel of design experts and former winners will select, by way of ranked choice vote, the first, second, and third place winners in each category. The judging phase concludes on April 16, with the winners announced soon after! The following PPS students' designs are among the 30 finalists:

Elia B T, age 12, Lyman Moore Middle School; George F, age 9, East End Community School; Mina N, age 17, Deering High School; Nora M, age 11, King Middle School; and Samantha F, age 18, Portland Arts and Technology High School (PATHS).
