On Monday, June 10, Rowe Elementary School third- and fourth-graders invite the community to celebrate the culminating event of their immigration unit, titled “I’m your neighbor.” Students will be unveiling a permanent mural they have created for the school hallway.
Students have spent months learning about the importance and history of immigration and its impact on our community. They have been working with the Side x Side program, which supports integrated art learning, to create the mural.
The unveiling will take place in the school cafeteria from 9:15 a.m. to 10 a.m.
