Part of the discussion will focus on how to address the significant facility needs of Portland’s public schools, including its elementary schools, in the CIP budget.

| School Board Joins in Denouncing Racism, Bigotry Posted on 05/07/2015 In light of the recent racially motivated incidents that occurred over the last few weeks in Portland, Mayor Brennan, members of the Portland City Council, Portland Board of Public Education, and Portland Legislative Delegation came together today for a press conference at City Hall to denounce these behaviors and send a strong reminder to citizens that there is no place for racism, bigotry, hatred, and intimidation in Portland.
