METRO Seeking Comments on Service Standards at Feb. 18 Meeting

Greater Portland METRO is updating its service standards and would like the public’s input at a Ridership Committee Meeting scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 18. The meeting will start at 4 p.m. and take place at the METRO office, located at 114 Valley St. in Portland. The office is accessible by METRO Route #1.
METRO’s service standards are used to guide its planning and improve service. These standards include on-time performance, locations of bus stops/shelters, bus frequency, accessibility and the number of passengers on each route.

As part of a new agreement between the school district and METRO that began in September, Portland Public Schools' high school students use METRO buses to get to and from school and extracurricular activities.
