Become an Academic Coach!

If you are interested in volunteering as an academic coach in one of our Make It Happen! Centers, please fill out a Volunteer Application, Student Privacy Statement and Volunteer Confidentiality Agreement.

There are a few general guidelines we ask our volunteer academic coaches to consider:

Academic coaches are needed Monday - Friday, after school and during school study periods; each school may have a slightly different schedule
We ask for a 1-2 hour commitment per week for the duration of the semester
We will do our best to match you with a student who needs support in subjects with which you are familiar
We ask you to be open minded, flexible, and above all else understanding of the lived experiences of our students
