
The Southern Maine Elementary Math League held its third math meet of the year on March 14, Pi Day. Students from Lyseth Elementary School, Lyman Moore Middle School and Lincoln Middle School were among the high scorers.
In the Fifth-grade Team Rounds, Lyseth took third place and for Sixth-grade Team Rounds, Moore placed second.
In Individual Rounds among fifth-graders, Lyseth student Ethan Sweeney took third place and Lyseth student Archer Akers took fourth place.
For sixth-grade Individual Rounds, Moore student Ronan Mas and Lincoln student Asa Tussing both were second place finishers, Moore student Xavier Bradford took fourth place, and Lincoln student Violet Blum-Levine took 5th place.
