
The public is invited to Spring for Teachers, a fundraiser to benefit Portland Public Schools teachers. Tickets are still available for the May 11 event, which will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at Bunker Brewing Company. Attendees can enjoy great food and live music and participate in a raffle for an L.L. Bean camping package – all while supporting education innovation in the Portland Public Schools.
The annual event is hosted by the Foundation for Portland Public Schools (FPPS) and is back in person this year for the first time since 2019.
Highlights include recognition of teacher innovations in the district; the premier of a new FPPS video; music by the Portland High School Jazz Combo; great food, and the raffle of an L.L. Bean camping package to benefit FPPS’ Equity and Innovation Teacher Grant Program.
