Casco Bay High School Principal Derek Pierce and student Maggie Ruff
sat down this week with 207's Caroline Cornish. They talked about
Pierce's nomination for the Nellie Mae Education Foundation's Larry
O'Toole Leadership Award. The award recongizes excellence in
implementing student-centered learning practices, including learning
that is personalized, engaging, competency-based and happens
anytime-anywhere. If Pierce wins, Casco Bay High School will recieve a
