Deering High School is hosting a student-led dialogue session on Thursday, Dec. 3 to share and discuss perspectives on topics related to the world refugee crisis. The event will take place at the school at 370 Stevens Avenue at 2:45 p.m.
Students in the Seeds of Peace group will facilitate. Seeds is a group of high school students from across Maine who participate in a leadership training program that promotes peace.
The dialogue is open to all high school students (and teachers) in the city of Portland and will offer an opportunity for mutual understanding to better the Portland community.
