
Portland Public Schools parents, guardians and students are invited to conversation at Deering High School on Thursday, April 14, about awareness and prevention of prescription drug abuse.
The free event starts at 6 p.m. and will take place in the Deering High School library.
Deering social workers Melissa McStay and Robert Carroll will lead the discussion. Representatives from Day One, Maine’s leading agency addressing youth substance abuse, and CVS pharmacy are also expected to attend.
Parking is available and the building is accessible to those with physical disabilities.
