Presumpscot Elementary School second-graders have been studying pollinators – insects like bees and butterflies – as part of a Pollinators Expedition learning project, and now will be planting a pollinator garden on Thursday, June 2.
The event will take place at the school, located at 69 Presumpscot St. Students will not only be planting pollinating plants and flowers at the 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. event, but also sharing their learning and their expedition binders. There also will be a migration game for all to play.
Presumpscot Elementary School is in the EL Education (formerly Expeditionary Learning) network, and Presumpscot students participate in project-based learning expeditions.
